Announcements
  • Pentecost (Trinity Sunday) is on June 12 this year. The weekend services will be as usual (Vigil Sat. 6 p.m., Liturgy Sun. 9:30 a.m.) except for Sunday Kneeling Vespers.  This is a special service for Pentecost and will be served immediately following the Sunday morning Liturgy.
  • The Post Pandemic Perennial Pan-Orthodox Pentecost Potluck Picnic in the Park will be Sunday after Liturgy, beginning at about 1 p.m. We plan on gathering at Fairview Park (Bannock and 23rd St.), however, if that proves to be not possible, we will return to Veteran’s Park.  Any changes in the place will be announced in Church and on the Facebook Event page.
  • The week following Pentecost is a fast free week. Apostles’ Fast begins on Monday June 20 and continues through July 11.
  • There will be an All Saints pig roast at the home of Jared and Natalia Phelps on June 19.
  • Saturday July 2 (6/19) is the feast of St. John of San Francisco. There will be Vigil for St. John on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and Divine Liturgy for St. John on Saturday morning at 9 a.m.

  • Archbishop Kyrill will be visiting the parish July 16 & 17. On that weekend Vigil will begin at 5 p.m. rather than 6 p.m. and on Sunday we will greet the Bishop at the Church at 9:30 a.m. (please plan to arrive early). We plan to have a banquet in the Archbishop’s honor on Sunday afternoon – details will be announced as they become available.
  • The parish altar feast – the opening of the relics of St. Seraphim – is on Monday August 1 (7/19). We will celebrate the feast on Sunday July 31.  Details of the celebration will be announced as they become available.

  • We have begun the planning and permitting process to add onto the Church hall. If all goes as we hope, then we should be in construction sometime this summer and have a completed addition by the time the winter rains begin.
