  • The feast of SS Peter and Paul on July 12 (6/29 o.s.) ends the Apostles Fast. There will be vigil on Monday evening at 6 p.m. and Liturgy on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
  • There will be a new series of classes beginning July 13 at 6:30 p.m. The Law of God is a way to learn more about your Orthodox Faith. The classes will be the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of every month and will be based on the book, The Law of God by Fr. Seraphim Slobodskoy (there are copies in English and Russian available in the bookstore). The first lesson will introduce the study of the Old Testament narrative.
  • The parish’s 25th anniversary will be celebrated July 30 & 31 with a visit from Archbishop Kyrill and the Hawaii Myrrhstreaming icon of the Mother of God. The vigil on Saturday evening will be at 5 p.m. and we will greet the bishop at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. There will be a celebratory banquet at 3 p.m. Sunday afternoon – please RSVP by July 24 to Fr. David, Fr. Matthew or Dan and Elena DeYoung so that we know how many to expect.
  • The feasts of Transfiguration and Dormition of the Virgin are in August. Transfiguration is on Friday Aug. 19 (8/6 o.s.)   Vigil will be Thursday evening at 6 p.m. and Liturgy will be at 8 a.m. on Friday with the blessing of grapes, fruits and honey. Dormition is on Sunday Aug. 28 (8/15 o.s.) and services will be according to the normal weekend schedule.
