  • The Great Feast of Pentecost is Sunday June 20 (6/7). All services will follow the regular Saturday/Sunday schedule with the addition of the Kneeling Vespers of Pentecost immediately after Liturgy. We will then hold our regular “Perennial Pan-Orthodox Pentecost Potluck Picnic in the Park”.  This year we will be changing parks and will hold the picnic at Castle Hills Park (off Eugene, between Castle Dr and N Citadel Way).  The park borders on the home of Jared and Natalia Phelps and they will provide additional facilities for food preparation (please make sure you arrange for your needs directly with them beforehand).

  • Pentecost week, June 20-27 is a fast free week. Apostles fast begins immediately after this on Monday June 28 and continues until the feast of SS Peter and Paul (Mon. July 12).
  • Our parish feast of St Seraphim of Sarov is on Aug. 1. Bishop James will be with us to celebrate the feast the following weekend with Vigil at 6 p.m. on Friday Aug. 6 and Hierarchal Liturgy at 9:00 a.m. Saturday Aug. 7.
