Announcements
  • Once again, the weather has caught up to our construction plans. Since it would be unwise to remove the roof during the rainy season, we will postpone the start of construction again until after the Festival in May.  We will need to move the contents of the storage pod back into the Church:  some things will be put back into use, others will be kept in storage in the Church building until spring.  The transfer process will be ongoing during the next two weeks and if necessary we will schedule a work day on Saturday Oct. 27 – details will be announced the week prior.
  • Archbishop Kyrill is unable to visit our parish this fall due to health complications. The planned ordination of Deacon Matthew Garrett to the priesthood, however, will still go ahead.  The ordination will take place in Seattle at St. Nicholas Cathedral at the clergy conference on Nov. 13.  There will be a hierarchal liturgy that morning with Bishops Theodosiy of Seattle and Irenei of Richmond and Western Europe. That evening there will be a banquet and a public presentation by Professor Russell Martin of Westminster College on the lives of the Royal Martyrs.  Those of you who are able may wish to make the trip and attend these festivities.  Details will be provided as they become available.
  • There will be Pannikhida on Wednesday evening, Oct. 31(18) at 6 p.m.
