Announcements
- The Apostles Fast ends with the feast of SS Peter and Paul, Thurs. July 12 (6/29). There will be Great Vespers on Wed. evening at 6 p.m. and Liturgy Thurs. morning at 8 a.m.
- The Law of God classes will continue every other Sunday evening (July 1, 15, 29 & Aug 12, 26) after the 6 p.m Vespers service.
- We are set to submit plans to the city for our proposed new roof. As soon as we have approval and a start date for construction, we will need to clear out the Church building and start some of the minor demolition. We will need everyone’s help for this. Dates and times will be announced in Church. Watch the website and Facebook page for up to date announcements as well.
- The feast of the Royal Martyrs will be celebrated on Tues., July 17 (4). This year marks the 100th anniversary of their martyrdom. There will be Vigil on Mon. evening at 6 p.m. and Liturgy at 8 a.m. Tues. morning.
- Our parish feast of St. Seraphim is on Wed. Aug. 1 (7/19). There will be Vigil for the feast on Tues. at 6 p.m. and Liturgy Wed. morning at 8 a.m. The following Sun., Aug. 5, there will be a festal molieben following the Divine Liturgy in honor of St. Seraphim followed by a festal meal.
- The Dormition Fast begins Tues. Aug. 14 (1) and continues through the feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God on Tues. Aug. 28 (15). This is a strict fast like Great Lent. On the feast of Dormition, there will be Vigil on Mon. evening at 6 p.m. and Liturgy on Tues. at 8 a.m.
- The feast of the Transfiguration is on Sun. Aug 19 (6). The festal services will be combined with the regular Sat./Sun. services.
