Announcements
- There will be a Slavonic Liturgy on Saturday Oct. 12 at 9 a.m. for St. Kyriakos of Palestine.
- Monday Oct. 14 is the feast of the Protection of the Mother of God. There will be Great Vespers on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. and Divine Liturgy on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by coffee hour.
- The diocesan pastoral conference is Oct. 21 - 23 in Salt Lake City. Both Fr. David and Fr. Matthew will be there. Due to the necessities of travel, there will be no services on Sunday evening Oct. 20, Wednesday evening Oct. 23, or Thursday morning Oct. 24.
- Additional weekday liturgies in October: 10/3 (GM Eustathius), 10/10 (Martyr Callistratus), and 10/31 (Apostle and Evangelist Luke). These liturgies will all begin at 9 a.m.
- The regular monthly Pannykhida will be on the evening of Oct. 31 (note the different day due to the pagan celebration of Halloween).
- On Sunday Nov. 10 there will a molieben at the end of the Liturgy for all the military veterans and those in active service who are in the parish (due to Veterans day on Monday Nov. 11). If you are a veteran or on active duty, please make sure Moses Toll has your name so that he can give Fr. David a list to commemorate at the molieben.
- There will be a Slavonic Liturgy on Saturday Nov. 23 at 9 a.m. for the Apostle Erastus & companions.
- Additional weekday liturgies in November: 11/7 (MM Marcian & Martyrius), 11/14 (Unmercenaries Cosmos and Damian), and 11/21 (Archangel Michael). These liturgies will all begin at 9 a.m.
- Thanksgiving day is very late this year – Nov. 28. We will celebrate by giving thanks to God with a Molieben and Akathist of Thanksgiving at 10:00 a.m. Also note that this day is the first day of the Nativity Fast.
