April 10 will be concelebrated at St. Seraphim’s with Holy Transfiguration parish at 6 p.m.  There will be a potluck meal following the service.  April 17 will be at 9 a.m.  April 24 we will again concelebrate with Holy Transfiguration parish at their church at 6 p.m..  There will be a potluck meal that evening also.  Those wishing to receive should prepare as usual and fast from all food and drink from midnight (for morning liturgies) or from noon (for evening liturgies).
  • Pannikhida for Radonitsa will be Tuesday May 14 at 6 p.m.
  • There are many services in both April and May. Please see the calendars for additional information on the available services.  Note that the liturgy on May 16 is for St. Theodosius of the Kiev caves which is Bishop Theodosiy’s name day.
  • We are getting more and more children in the parish and it is increasingly important to organize a Church School to instruct them in the faith on their level.  Lanae Denno has volunteered to head up this effort and has suggested that we start by reading the saint of the day from My Synaxarion and then learning some hymns for upcoming saints and feasts.  We plan to get a few lessons done before we break for summer and then take that opportunity to develop a more full curriculum to start with in the fall.  This would be for children 5 and older (under 5 can attend if accompanied by a parent) and will start Sunday April 14th. Lanae cannot do this alone.  Please contact her in person or at 208.861.2905  if you would be willing to help with the actual class or with organizing a curriculum.
