• The Myrrh-streaming Hawaii Iveron Icon of the Mother of God will be in the parish August 12 & 13 along with Fr. Nectary, the caretaker of the icon. The icon will be in the Church for Vigil on Saturday evening and Liturgy on Sunday morning.  There will also be additional services as time allows – the schedule will be announced as it develops – as well as times when the Church will be open to allow for general veneration.
• The Dormition Fast begins on Monday August 14 (8/1) through Sunday August 27 (8/14). This is a short (2 weeks) but strict fast (similar to Great Lent).
• The Great Feast of the Transfiguration of our Lord falls on Saturday August 19 (8/6). There will be the vigil for the feast on Friday evening at 6 p.m. and Divine Liturgy for the feast on Saturday at 9 a.m.
• The Great Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God falls on Monday August 28 (8/15). There will the vigil for the feast on Sunday evening at 6 p.m. and Divine Liturgy for the feast Monday at 9 a.m.
• The Church New Year falls on Thursday September 14 (9/1). There will be Vespers for the New Year on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. and Divine Liturgy on Thursday morning at 9 a.m.
• The Great Feast of the Nativity of the Mother of God falls on Thursday September 21 (9/8) There will the vigil for the feast on Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. and Divine Liturgy for the feast Thursday at 9 a.m.
• The Great Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross falls on Wednesday September 27 (9/14). There will the vigil for the feast on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. and Divine Liturgy for the feast Wednesday at 9 a.m.
