Announcements
  • Archbishop Kyrill will visit the parish on October 15 and 16. Saturday evening Vigil service will begin early – at 4:30 p.m.  We will formally greet the bishop at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.  There will not be a meal immediately afterwards (although coffee and tea will be available in the hall).  There will be a dinner in honor of His Eminence that afternoon at the home of Dan and Elena DeYoung (time to be announced).
  • The feast of the Protection of the Mother of God is on Friday October 14. There will be vespers for the feast on Thursday October 13 at 6 p.m. and Divine Liturgy for the feast on October 14 at 9 a.m.
  • Thanksgiving Day is on Thursday November 24. At 10 a.m. on that day we will sing the molieben and akathist of Thanksgiving – there will be no liturgy on that day.

  • The Nativity Fast (Advent) begins on November 28.
  • The Christmas Youth Conference (Syezd) is scheduled for December 26-30 in Phoenix, AZ. Information about cost and registration will be provided as it becomes available.
