Welcome to St. Seraphim of Sarov Orthodox Church. We are an American mission parish of the Russian Orthodox Church. In our parish you will find Orthodox Christians from many different backgrounds. Of course there are Russians and Americans, however you will also find Serbs, Bulgarians, Romanians and others. Because we are a mission parish, our services are mostly in English, however, there is also some Slavonic as a remembrance of our ties to the Russian Church. We are under the Synod of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, headed by Metropolitan MARK, Locum Tenens of the First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad. We are in the diocese of Western America under the pastoral rule of Archbishop KYRILL of San Francisco and Western America. We welcome your visit both here on our webpage and in person at our parish.

From St. Nicholas Cathedral in Seattle: The Orthodox Forum entitled "Contemporary Orthodox Family Lifestyle" will be held at the Greek Camp of All Saints in Gig Harbor, just an hour's drive from the cathedral. It is scheduled for 4 days and 3 nights (August 25-28, 2022). Check-in at 12:00. Check out at 15:00. We invite everyone from your parish!
We will live in women's and men's houses with amenities. At the camp there is a chapel, sports grounds, a pier, games rooms and a spacious dining room. Every day there will be a children's and adult program. We plan conversations with priests and other speakers, a lot of physical activity (kayaking, fishing, sports, morning exercises, dancing), creativity, board games and songs around the campfire.
On the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, a liturgy will be held in the chapel of the camp.
Cost:

The Saint Seraphim Russian Food Festival is being reconfigured. Due to some key personnel changes and other factors, it has become necessary to look at our format and revise it somewhat. The Festival has always been an important part of our Church life as well as a fundraiser for capital projects. We are looking at different ways of meeting our needs as well as yours, our faithful and valued customers, in the future. Please keep an eye on this website/facebook page for future developments.
In addition to the local changes, there is also currently a war involving countries that many of our parishioners call “home” – both Ukraine and Russia – and so this is a difficult time for all of us and this situation impacts our ability to put on a “festival” when so many of our relatives are suffering.
